The Bird House is built on a 22-foot long trailer and one of the two lofts hangs over an extra 3 feet to fit into its initial site, which has a low wall that could be overhung. It is framed with 2x4 walls, but has a layer of exterior foam-board insulation combined with an air gap between the foam and the metal cladding to further boost it’s thermal performance.
