Erin Blaz

Erin Blaz is a founding member of LivLab Studios. Her role is to maintain the vision and mission of LivLab when Christopher and Steve are too busy with building and design. Erin’s profession is in ecological education and she works to increase place-based awareness of the middle Rio Grande Valley with local students. Erin’s background and training bring an important pillar to LivLab Studios – to help us understand that the home is the center of our ecological participation in the world. She believes the tiny house movement is key to helping our society reflect upon and evolve our social and environmental values as a culture. Her hope is that through LivLab Studios she can help empower people to take ownership of their connection to the place they live; whether it is in an urban center, desolate wilderness or somewhere in between- she is sure that tiny living means a bigger life.
